Playstation 2 Repairs

The PS2 console is getting a little old now, but is still a great console with many games available. Unfortunately, there are a few faults on the PS2 which continue to raise their heads from time to time. Luckily, we can fix the faults for you.

Laser Replacement (slim model)

Cost: £45

Should your PS2 begin having problems reading disks, dont panic. This is a very common fault with the PS2 and thankfully is easily fixed by replacing the PS2 laser.

PS2 Laser Cleaning

Cost: £20

Occasionally, the laser on the PS2 may be so mucky with dust that it could be causing disks not to load. Before we replace lasers, we usually try cleaning them professionally first, to see if that helps. We do not just stick a cleaning disk in the drive, we strip the console down and professionally clean the PS2 laser lens by hand, with the correct fluid.

No Power on PS2 (slim)

Cost: £20

Another common fault this, which requires the machine is stripped down and the fault diagnosed. This can be caused by a number of issues, but we can usually fix the problem without too much trouble.
